Bs. As. Stncl formed in 2002 as one of the first collectives to stencil on the streets of Buenos Aires. Their first work was in protest of the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

They use images from magazines and cultural icons of Argentina in their work, subverting these to give them new meanings and depth.

They strongly believe that their work becomes powerful only when viewed in the context of the huge Buenos Aires street art movement. The amount of people expressing themselves on the street is the real phenomenon, they feel.

They exhibit in galleries around the world including New York, Berlin and Spain. They have recently shown work at Choque Cultural in Sao Paulo, Brasil and are contributing to the SAP art exhibition in Germany which starts in April.
